Vendor Winter Farmers Market

The new 2019-2020 Winter Market extends the farmers market season and increases the availability of fresh produce and other local products to the Gahanna community throughout the year.

Submission of your application does not guarantee participation in the Make Gahanna Yours Winters Farmers Market (the Market). Your admission to the Market will be considered based on product diversity (individual and market) and available space, among other factors. Decisions made by the Market shall be final.

MARKET RENT:
There is no seasonal rate available for the winter market and the daily rate is $10 per day and a maximum of two spaces per date may be rented.

Certificate of insurance: All vendors must have adequate liability insurance, in the form of a certificate of insurance greater than, or equal to $1 million dollars to protect their individual business while at the market. The Gahanna Farmers Market AND the Shepherd Church Of The Nazarene must be listed as the additional insured on this policy. Proof of liability insurance is to be submitted with registration materials.

WINTER MARKET RENT:

All vendors pay a daily fee of $10 for an 8’x10′ single stall or $20 for a double (a maximum of two spaces may be rented). There are no seasonal fees associated with this market.

Due to a limited number of spaces, preference will be given to returning vendors that have participated in the 2019 Summer Gahanna Farmers Market.   For returning vendors to ensure a spot, please submit your application and fee by October 25th. After that, the market will admit new vendors based on quality, location and uniqueness of product. The market seeks to maintain a balance of all products: produce, meat, baked goods, processed products, dairy, plants, and arts/crafts. The market manager reserves the right to select vendors based on these criteria, with guidance provided by the Make Gahanna Yours’ market advisory committee.

LICENSES:

Continuing vendors: For vendors continuing from the summer season there is no need to resubmit copies of your licensing, because the market already has these on file. Please check which licenses you have already provided to the market on the appropriate lines below.

New vendors: Depending on the product(s) you sell, you must attach a copy(s) of all applicable permits, certifications and/or licenses required by the applicable municipal law or State of Ohio.

By signing below, I certify that I have read and understand the Market Rules and Regulations and that all licenses and certification listed above are current and valid.  I understand that should I, or any vendor personnel fail to comply with the Rules and Regulations, my participation in the Gahanna Farmers Market can be terminated.

The undersigned agrees to protect, indemnify and hold harmless the Make Gahanna Yours Farmers Market, Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, and their employees, volunteers, service vendors or independent contractors from and against any and all causes of action, claims, demands, suits, liability or expense by reason of loss or damage to any property or bodily injury to any person, including death, as a direct or indirect result of use of the market space, the purchase of any item from any vendor, or in connection with any action or claim.
