ABOUT

Our Roots

Here at Make Gahanna Yours, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making Gahanna a better place for all. This committee came together because we care about our city and its neighborhoods and we love living in Gahanna.  We decided to form a beautification and civic pride committee so that we can work together to enhance what we like about Gahanna and improve the areas we think could use some help.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Making A Difference

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Make Gahanna Yours is a 501(c)3 organization run by a group of volunteers that are working together to achieve positive results that benefit our community and also preserve its rich history.  We are making a difference by carrying out beautification and civic pride projects that help grow our wonderful city into something even more beautiful.

CLEANER GREENER GAHANNA

At Make Gahanna Yours, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the litter issue. This is by no means an easy feat, but through education we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

"Our summer market is back! Starting June 7th, you can stock your kitchen with fresh, local products.

**Please be advised. Due to new health guidelines to stop the spread, The Gahanna Farmers Market asks that all shoppers:

- Send only ONE member from each household into the market in order to keep the shopper count down and allow as many people as possible the chance to shop at the market.

- It is REQUIRED that all shoppers wear a facemask as directed by CDC recommendations: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019- ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html

- Customers with a previous illness must stay home and not return to the market until they are free of fever and show improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) for at least 14 days and at least 14 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

- Mobile hand washing stations will be available and everyone entering the market is REQUIRED to wash their hands.

- Shoppers must practice the recommended 6’ social distancing from one another while at the market - marking paint will be put out to exhibit guidelines.

- Shoppers are encouraged to prioritize only essential food purchasing and discontinue social gatherings. During this COVID crisis the market is an essential service not a social event.

- Shoppers should not touch any products, rather allowing the vendor to select and bag products customers wish to purchase.

- Clean/sanitize your hands frequently. Follow CDC recommendations for cleaning your hands.

- Shoppers may NOT bring your own shopping bags from home.

- We ask that customers keep their four legged furry friends at home this season to minimize traffic at the market."

Thank you, we hope you enjoy your visit!!
